Samsung is widening the net for its February 2026 security patch, officially adding the Galaxy S25 Edge and S25 FE to the update roster.
Following the initial release for the flagship S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra earlier this week, the tech giant quickly expanded the rollout to the remaining models in this year's lineup just hours later.
The update is currently live in South Korea, arriving with firmware versions S937NKSS6BZB2 for the S25 Edge and S731NKSS5AZB2 for the S25 FE. This latest software package patches 37 known security vulnerabilities found in the previous OS build.
A broader global rollout is expected in the coming days. Users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Beyond routine security tweaks, both the S25 Edge and S25 FE are slated for a major OS upgrade: One UI 8.5, based on Android 16 QPR2. Currently in beta testing, this upcoming software promises a refreshed interface and a host of new features. It is expected to officially debut alongside the highly anticipated Galaxy S26 series before trickling down to other eligible devices.
